Portuguese Tales

There was a time, back in the 20th century, when thousands of Portuguese decided to move on and find better opportunities abroad.  People from different backgrounds, living in different decades left Portugal struggling against situations such as war, hunger or just for the chance to change their lives. Portuguese company A Barraca introduces these people’s stories, today and tomorrow, at 8 pm, at the D. Pedro V Theatre, with “August: Tales of Emigration”, a musical show presented as a part of the Macau Arts Festival.
